Nell's pottery falls into two distinct categories, yet both are artistic as well as functional. Pure white earthenware is slab constructed to produce light, delicate pieces characterized by impressions of real flowers that are hand painted to look very lifelike. Stoneware is thrown on the wheel to produce classic pottery pieces that are characterized by rich natural glaze colors and many pieces have natural leaf accents. The goal with all these pieces is to bring the beauty of handmade pottery into everyday use.
